Parking is available on East Chevy Chase Drive parking lot located on the east side of our building. Please be courteous and do not park in our neighbor's parking lots.
Consultation
If you have questions or wish to schedule a full consultation with Dr. Ashjian, please contact our office during normal office hours our friendly staff will be happy to schedule a convenient time for you. New patients may be asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to the appointment time to complete our registration process unless new patient packets are already filled out.
We attach a great deal of importance to your consultation, which generally takes an hour. It gives us a chance to meet and to review your specific desires. During this time, we can outline treatment alternatives, discuss expected outcomes, and review risks, complications and costs. A consultation is especially important as it creates a patient/physician relationship based on trust, experience and expertise. We consider all of our patients as part of our "family", and therefore the door is always open for future visits. Patients are encouraged to review our website so that they will be better informed of the desired procedure.
- If we will be more than 30 minutes late for an appointment, we will attempt to inform you. Please notify us promptly if you are going to be late or need to change an appointment. If an unforeseen circumstance arises for you and you cannot keep your consultation/appointment, please call us immediately to avoid a fee. There will be a $25 fee for patients that do not cancel/no show with at least a 24hour notice.
- All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
- You are welcome to bring a spouse or friend to your consultation. To minimize distractions for you, however, we ask that you do not bring children if possible.

Financial Policy
We request payment for consultations, treatments for injectables and any advanced skin care procedure and products at the time the service is provided in the office. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions concerning fees, payments due or payment options available.
Payment for cosmetic surgery procedures will be discussed during your consultation visit. A $500.00 deposit is required to secure a surgical date. The balance of your fees are due 1 week before your surgery. A personal check or credit card payment will be accepted for your balance. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Financing is available through Carecredit. Refer to the Financing Section of our website for more information or apply on-line. Please feel free to contact us regarding other plastic surgery financing plans that may be available to you. You may call us at 818.241.9611.
There will be a $35.00 fee for any checks returned for non-sufficient funds.
A $15.00 fee will be collected for Medical Record copies, FMLA, Disability, and other Third Party forms needing attention by our staff.
Surgery Scheduling
One of our staff members can assist you with questions regarding your upcoming surgery. If you need to re-schedule or cancel your surgery, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible. There is a $500.00 fee for surgery cancellations with less than a week notice.
Insurance and Billing
Please help us process these claims promptly by bringing your insurance information with you on your first visit. We will verify the coverage provided by your health insurance plan before surgery. The patient is responsible for the co-pay, deductible, and co-insurance. The patient may also be responsible for any amount that is not covered by insurance.
Remember that your health care policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. It is ultimately the patient's responsibility to pay for services provided by Peter H. Ashjian, M.D. If you have any questions about your bill or insurance claim, you may reach Erica Najera, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
